Haul from show and a few views from the "Red Sea"

Well, didn't come home with a new horse :-( but did manage somehow to have Marlin's name drawn a few times. The living room wall has been ruled out but will find somewhere to put the big sign. The banner will have it's own flag pole one of these days.

show - still on the lookout for new horses.







July is moving on out - summer will be over before you know it!

Hope your 4th is going well ~ kinda overcast here today with a sprinkle or two of rain but still hoping we can get to the fireworks show tonight. Proud to be an American and thankful to all those who keep us free - blessings to all!

2008 Wheel Horse Show

All the work to prepare and now it has almost been a week since the show - how time flies! I tried to take lots of pictures to feed the blog for awhile so lets get to a few.....

Marlin and his brother's brought a total of 23 tractors to this year's show.

The roundup has begun....

The weather is perfect - what a blessing! Marlin and the boys are busy with last minute details for the show. Plan is to head out early tomorrow morning. Meeting the brothers for breakfast then onto the show grounds. The newest one to have a makeover is Marlin's 58RJ. Picture of her first bath below.... She really sparkles now - can't believe it is the same tractor.

Just a few pictures from Chambersburg Show

Wow has it been since May 16th that I last posted! Time is sure flying fast - Marlin about has his latest tractor together. I am sure it will be done for the show. She is looking really nice! Thought I would post some of the pictures from the show in Chambersburg the end of April...

The garages are still busy - countdown is now 35 days till Wheel Horse show! Marlin's brother Gary sent some pictures of his progress on his restoration. Hoping to be complete for the annual show.

About time I posted a few pictures from the Spring Fling of the Cumberland Valley Antique Engine and Machinery Assn. the brothers attended ( http://www.cvaema.org/index.htm in Chambersburg, PA). Nice weekend and great place to catch up with everyone. Hope you all have the projects well under way time is running out. Seems the grass needs mowed just about every other day here - not that it gets it that often but sure is growing fast with all the rain! Have a great weekend will post some close ups of the tractors once I get Marlin to tell me who's is who's etc....
